Brew Crawl for Breast Cancer with former Cowboy Bradie James
Drinking beer for a good cause? Yes, please! The inaugural Brew Crawl for Cancer took place Saturday afternoon at five local breweries, where participants got to sample beers and have some fun. Participating breweries were: Community, Texas Ale Project, Deep Ellum Brewing, Four Corners and Noble Rey.
Put on by Dallas Brew Scene, the event benefited Bradie James’ Foundation 56, which is a breast cancer outreach program that aims to help patients and survivors get access to the services and resources they need. James’ mother, Etta, died from breast cancer in 2001. Uber partnered on the event, and gave participants two free rides up to $10.
