The Breast Cancer Resource Center
at Methodist Hospital
In a game-changing move, Bradie James and his Foundation 56 have teamed up with Methodist Health System in an effort to tackle breast cancer, together. The new Bradie James Breast Cancer Resource Center at Methodist Dallas Medical Center will provide screening, education, and detection, as well as one-on-one consultation services and other resources to help breast cancer patients get back in the game. This new venture is a huge triumph in the fight against breast cancer.
Mobile Mammogram Unit
Foundation 56 values taking the fight against breast cancer to the streets…literally. The Methodist Hospital Mobile Mammogram Unit brings advanced breast cancer screening technology along with a friendly, all-female technologist staff to: community centers, clinics, businesses, churches, schools, other North Texas locations.
In order to qualify for a screening mammogram on our mobile mammography unit, a woman must:
Be at least 35 years old or older
Not have any current breast problems (this includes, but is not limited to, pain, leakage, lumps, dimples or fibrocystic breast disease)
Not be pregnant or suspect she is pregnant
Not have had a breast cancer diagnosis within the last 5 years
Be able to get herself onto and off of the van unassisted and must be able to stand unassisted (the mobile unit is not wheelchair accessible and the patients must be able to stand for the exam)
Most major insurances, including Medicaid and Medicare Part B are accepted. Cash, check or charge are also accepted and is due at the time of the appointment. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. To schedule an appointment, please call 214-947-0026.

Breast Cancer Support Group
The Bradie James Breast Cancer Resource Center serves as the meeting place for a breast cancer support group. Meets third Thursday of the month from 6 – 7:30 p.m. Open to all breast cancer patients and survivors. Contact Shoshanna Conway, RN at (214) 947-1771 for more information.
Look Good, Feel Better.
An American Cancer Society program that teaches beauty techniques to cancer patients to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment.
Services available in the warm, supportive environment at the Bradie James Breast Cancer Resource Center will include: Bra fitting, Temporary prosthesis fitting, Wig fitting, Scarves and hats, Access to an American Cancer Society(ACS) volunteer, Books on coping with breast cancer, Computer and Internet access for online educational information.
