Foundation56 Receives NFL Foundation Grant

Foundation 56 is proud to announce that it has been awarded a highly competitive grant from the NFL Foundation for both the 2024 and 2025 grant cycles. This continued support underscores the foundation’s mission and the meaningful impact of its community-focused health initiatives.

Support from the NFL Foundation will help expand the reach and effectiveness of the Care2Fight Health & Wellness Fair and the Mammograms Matter Health Initiative by increasing the number of mammogram screenings, extending programming into new cities across North Texas, and integrating advanced data analytics tools to better track and measure the impact of each grant and sponsorship.

The goal of BarbaraCares’ Mammograms Matter Health Initiative is to address financial barriers and the varying social determinants of health (SDOH) faced by individuals at risk of a late-stage breast cancer diagnosis, ensuring greater access to early detection and preventative care.
