Bradie Stops by WFAA

Since establishing the foundation at The Dallas Foundation in 2007 to honor his late mother, Bradie has mobilized over half a million dollars to support breast cancer screenings and mobile mammography units across Texas and Louisiana.

Recently, Bradie awarded grants through the Bradie James 56 Foundation, bolstered by the NFL Foundation’s 2024 & 2025 NFL Player Matching Grant, to organizations making a real difference in North Texas:

  • BarbaraCares – Mammograms Matter Health Initiative: Expanding mammogram screenings to new North Texas communities and enhancing impact tracking through advanced data analytics.
  • UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center – Financial Reimbursement Program: Helping cancer clinical trial patients cover transportation, meals, and childcare so cost isn’t a barrier to life-saving treatments.
  • Bonton Farms – New Wellness Center: Supporting a holistic 11,000-square-foot center providing medical, dental, fitness, nutrition, and financial wellness resources for South Dallas residents.

Through these grants, Bradie continues to honor his mother’s legacy while empowering communities with critical health and wellness resources.
